Choose and verify

Compare the output and frame arrangement as separate choices

01

Output beyond the model name

Read rated and maximum values from the model specification rather than interpreting the digits in the name.

02

Compact or wheeled frame

Compare the handling layout, dimensions, weight and loading route separately from electrical output.

03

Panel and starting arrangement

Define outlets, voltage, frequency, phase and required starting method for the destination market.

Buyer questions

Questions before you shortlist open-frame gasoline

Ask Miya
01Why do some model codes have two pages?

A printed catalogue column can cover a compact frame and a wheeled set. Those are separate machines, so each has its own page. Confirm the frame, wheels and datasheet together; panel lettering on a photograph is not the specification.

02What frame details should a distributor inspect?

Inspect guards, mounting feet, wheel and handle provisions, tank and control-panel access, lifting approach, fasteners and the packed protection used for shipment.

03What if two documents show different power values for the same model?

Do not average them or choose the larger number. Ask the supplier which value is on the nameplate and current datasheet, and use only that value in your comparison and purchase order.
